Introduction
Before an apostle builds, a prophet speaks, an evangelist reaches, a pastor shepherds, or a teacher instructs, each one must stand on the same foundation. The fivefold offices are different in function, but they share one purpose and one source.

Prayer
Father, I thank You for calling me and placing me in the body of Christ for Your purpose. Build me on the sure foundation of Jesus Christ. Teach me to handle Your Word rightly, to hear what You are saying, and to speak only what You give me. Let my preparation be rooted in prayer and my ministry be filled with Your Spirit. Align my heart with Yours, so that everything I build will stand and bring glory to Your name. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
